About Us
This 1880s building is located two blocks from Castle San Marco and from historic downtown St Augustine, the oldest European town in the United States that was founded by Spain in 1565. The building, which was reopened after extensive renovations in 2021/22 features eight rooms located on three floors, as well as a dining room and a waiting room. Its style combines the builder's Southern flavor with Moroccan features in reflection of the Arabic contribution to Spain's culture, language and cuisine. There is a parking lot, with eight parking spaces for small and medium-sized cars (larger vehicles can be accommodated if the lot is not full). All rooms have bathrooms, but two of the rooms have non-ensuite (but private) bathrooms. Several bathrooms feature historic clawfoot bathtubs.
